Now with more control of OTR (oxygen transmission rate), these closures will allow more or less oxygen permeation than similarly produced extruded closures or screwcaps, while still preserving the highest levels of S02.

Description
A highly elastic polymer based, medium density, chemically inert, extruded still wine closure. Engineered to be used with all automatic four segment sliding jaw type corking equipment and formulated to meet the performance standards of the wine industry.

Technology
NOMACORC is manufactured with an innovative, proprietary extrusion process. Extrusion is a continuous process in which polymer pellets are mixed, melted and forwarded with a screw, under injection of a gas, until the mixture exits through a die; creating the product shape. In-line quality assurance systems monitor the product from start to finish. This automated process provides extremely high consistency in terms of density, cell structure and dimensional control. High precision printing and coating technology apply the FDA approved inks and proprietary surface treatments.
